News Update for week of August 28, 2018


The Attorney General Memorandum on housing discrimination, which appears on the back of the listing agreement, has been revised by New Jersey. The memorandum must, by rule of the New Jersey Real Estate Commission, be provided by licensed real estate brokers and salespersons to anyone listing a property with them for rent or sale. The expanded memorandum dated August 2018 supersedes earlier versions. Due to the inventory of listings we presently have on hand, we will not be updating the listing until stock is depleted, therefore, please be advised to make copies of the updated memorandum and attach it to your listings. Click here to obtain copies:


September 26th is REALTOR® Care Day. GSCBOR will be partnering with Salem County Habitat for Humanity to help rehab a deck for a home in the Penn Beach section of Pennsville. We are in need of 10-12 compassionate volunteers willing to help with the rebuild. All tools, materials and safety glasses will be supplied. You will need to furnish your own work gloves (no open toed shoes on site, please). This day has been set aside to show communities that REALTORS® do more than “sell houses”, but give back to the communities they serve.
